Anti Wrinkle Injections

Here at KINS we use the brands botox & bocature. Anti wrinkle injections have both a good and bad reputation. The bad reputation represents poor technique and inappropriate patient selection. For the correct aged patient on the appropriate skincare, it is an invaluable addition to improve the appearance of ageing skin.

It works on the muscles beneath the skin’s surface to essentially paralyse them. It is the movement of these muscles that causes the overlying skin to wrinkle. These wrinkles become more pronounced on ageing skin as the skin quality decreases. The most common areas treated for ageing are the frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines and the lines around the eyes commonly known as ‘crows feet’. The procedure uses a tiny needle to administer the toxin so it is virtually pain-free. You may have a small raised bump where the needle was inserted but this will disappear within 10-20 mins.

The results can be seen from day 3 but peak at day 14 and last 3 - 4 months.
