How does it work?

VectorLift® is the perfect compliment to our SmoothEye collagen stimulation treatment, which focuses on rejuvenating the eye area. While SmoothEye targets the delicate skin around the eyes, VectorLift® goes further, enhancing brow elevation and helping to smooth forehead lines.

This advanced 3-step laser protocol delivers energy from the upper eyelids through to the hairline, creating a lifting effect that’s both natural and effective.

With precisely controlled depth of penetration, VectorLift® stimulates collagen exactly where it’s needed — across key facial areas — while carefully preserving facial fat, ensuring a refreshed, lifted appearance without compromising natural volume.

FAQs

What does Fotona vector lift do do?

VectorLift® is an innovative new laser treatment for a non-invasive eyebrow lift, upper eyelid rejuvenation and forehead smoothing result.  The VectorLift® gives great results with immediate tissue tightening evident at the appointment as well as longer term collagen stimulation with no pain or downtime.

You’ll notice an immediate tightening of the skin during your session, with visible lifting of the brows as they’re being treated. Beyond the instant effects, the treatment also kick starts collagen production, which begins around 3 weeks later, delivering ongoing improvements that continue even after your sessions are complete.

We recommend an initial course of at least 3 treatments (depending on desired result) and then maintenance of yearly after that.

5D Facelift

A comprehensive laser lifting and rejuvenation treatment that targets multiple layers of the skin, both inside and out. The 5D Facelift tightens, volumizes, smooths, and resurfaces — delivering a refreshed, lifted appearance without surgery or downtime.

SmoothEye™

This gentle, non-invasive treatment is designed to tighten and rejuvenate the delicate skin around the eyes. SmoothEye reduces fine lines, crepiness, and eyelid laxity, restoring a brighter, more youthful look.

LipLase™

Enhance lip fullness and definition naturally. LipLase uses laser energy to stimulate collagen production within the lips, resulting in a plumper, more hydrated appearance — without needles or fillers.

At Kins we love combining treatments as it means you can achieve more impactful results. This is also of benefit when life is busy as less appointments are needed and there is only one period of downtime.

There are certain contraindications where Fotona Vector lift treatment should be avoided or modified. These include:

1. Active Skin Infections or Inflammation: If you have an active infection (e.g., cold sores, bacterial infections) or inflammation (e.g., eczema, psoriasis), you should avoid Fotona vector lift as it may worsen these conditions.

2. Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: We advise avoiding Fotona vector lift during pregnancy due to the lack of conclusive safety data. Hormones are also still settling down post-partum and can have an impact on your skin.

3. Tanned or Sunburned Skin: Having a tan, sunburn, or any type of skin discoloration (even from tanning products) can increase the risk of complications, as the skin is more sensitive to heat-based treatments when it’s not in its normal colour.

4. Use of Photosensitising Medications: Certain medications, such as those used for acne (e.g., Accutane) or some antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines), can make your skin more sensitive to laser treatment, increasing the risk of burns or hyperpigmentation. You should avoid Fotona vector lift if you are taking these types of medications or consult your doctor for specific guidance.

5. History of/active skin Cancer or other Cancer: If you have active skin cancer or a history of it, particularly in the areas being treated, this has to be disclosed to your practitioner and treatment options will be discussed with you.

6.Endocrine disorders (uncontrolled Diabetes): Individuals with uncontrolled diabetes may have slower healing responses, which can make them more susceptible to side effects such as burns or scarring from Fotona Vector lift.

7. Autoimmune Disorders or Photosensitivity Disorders: Conditions like lupus or other autoimmune disorders may make your skin more sensitive to laser treatment, which can increase the risk of adverse effects from Fotona vector lift.

8. Recent Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments: If you have recently undergone chemical peels or other laser treatments, your skin may be too sensitive for Fotona Vector lift. It’s advisable to wait a few weeks (as recommended by your provider) before undergoing Fotona vector lift after such treatments.

9.Heart Disease or Pacemaker: In rare cases, people with heart conditions or a pacemaker may need to avoid Fotona Vector lift and will be discussed with you prior to treatment.

10. Disease stimulated by light: this would include solar urticaria or photosensitive epilepsy. Fotona vector lift can trigger these conditions. It is our aim to ensure every treatment is carried out safely and adverse reactions are avoided.

11. Connective tissue disorders: People with connective tissue disorders often have skin that is more fragile, thinner, or more prone to injury. The heat generated by Fotona vector lift could potentially cause burns, irritation, poor healing, or other adverse effects on these sensitive skin types

A consultation will be performed prior to any procedures ensuring all treatments are carried out safely.

If you have any concerns regarding your eligibility for a treatment, you can get in touch or come in for a consultation and we can go through the best treatment options for you.
